I also have done well in this freeroll...earlier this week I won a ticket to the $100 gtd game. It took a couple of days before I could use it, but when I did I took 3rd place for $8.

The prize pool for these tournaments has recently changed. Now the first place finisher receives $10.60, and 2nd-19th receive a token to a "Canadian Warrior" tournament worth $3.30. The "Canadian Warrior" tournaments have a guaranteed prize pool of $50 and require a minimum of 12 players to run, and runs twice daily.

Another change is that it now runs twice daily. Once at 8pm ET and the other at 10:30pm ET.

After a long while of not playing it, I decided recently to return to playing this game. A couple of things have changed since I last played. First, registration is now open 24hrs in advance, and second is that the amount of players is going up. However, it's still one of the softest freerolls and easy to make it into the money. I just wish they'd pay cash to more than just 1st spot, but the token to the Canadian Warriors game is nice too, good value there. Good luck all!

It sucks that they took away my favorite tournament, but they did add a bunch of freerolls to their schedule, so I guess it's ok. cheers
